The Pharmacy department of the hospital is saddled with the following responsibilities:

2. Quantification of drugs needed based on consumption to ensure continuous availability of drugs
3. Counseling of patient on drug use and drug related issues
4. Cost assessment of drugs to patients
5. Extemporaneous drug preparation
6. Review and filling of prescriptions
7. Drug information to prescribers and patients
8. Storage of drugs in appropriate conditions
9. Packaging of surgical materials
